This is beautifully reflective and deeply human. I love how you trace the journey from wonder, to identity, to humility without bitterness, especially the image of the “iron crown” slowly becoming a weight. That shift from being gifted to simply experiencing feels like a quiet kind of wisdom, earned rather than declared. It reads like someone who has made peace with learning again, and there’s something very freeing and generous in that.
Love this! Especially the ending: "I am no longer gifted.
I am simply experiencing." I see it as the freedom that comes from casting off labels. Seeing the world as pure experience, yes, rather than through a filter.
I understand the unique burden of "gifted and talented". I tell people when God was handing out gifts He came to me last. He said I have been carrying around all these gifts others didn't want and I am so tired of carrying them, dropped the load on me! HAHAHAH there has to be some explanation right? God is good I do understand you.
And with that you experienced growth, which rather than gifted, was earned. ❤️
Great job
Thank you for sharing... writing is a wonderful way of creating your reality as well.
More positive your choices of words, the more wonderous your reality becomes. Besides being different is a *gift* 🫶

Thought provoking.
beautifully honest. The more we can be in the 'now' - the deeper the experience.
Ouuuufffff this one got me good. I enter empty. A great piece on staying open and allowing ourselves to be ever evolving

Ahhh I see flecks of Rumi in there
Its inspiring. Creating pictures in mind while reading, totally opens a new world inside ourself and subconsciously we live it also.
This piece is inspiring , and that image with all the books makes me want to dive into all the books still unread on my shelves.
Yes being ready to experience in the NOW with those present... amazing Gift you can bring and have with you always to share!
