Everyone makes many friends in life, but those who are childhood friends remain true friends.

Yes! Such bonds are made out of pure innocence.

It’s so much easier being close when you are younger. Curiosity and the simple pleasantries of schooling or hanging out keep you together. As we grow, life takes us towards different destinations. Our journey ends up taking different paths on the crossroad and it feels like we lose touch.

After a time we can reconnect after years and it’ll feel like we’ve been together the whole time still. Our hearts are connected by that bond that doesn’t seem to fade and we have so much time to catch up on.

At least that’s how it is for me with close friends. We don’t always have the same interests and life sometimes has us change course. However, we will always be connected and just a text or call away.

Thanks for this post, it was quite lovely. ❤️ I hope you have a lovely day!

The friends I've lost because of the life that took me somewhere else have a strange effect on me. As soon as I read their message, I smile, then I feel guilty... but it's always nice to have a part of you in someone and vice versa. Great piece, have a good day.
